Burst Pricing Explained: Plans, Pay-Per-View and Your Budget

Burst pricing works differently from the usual influencer deal. Instead of paying a flat fee per post, you pay for the real views you get. Here's how the plans and budgets actually fit together — and what you're charged for.

Two things you're paying for

Keep these separate in your head:

  1. Platform access — your plan. It gives you the tools, the creator roster, auto-posting, view verification and reporting.
  2. Your campaign budget — on the pay-per-view plans, this is money you set and that's spent only on the real views your creators deliver.

Your plan is the access; your budget is the fuel.

The plans

  • Essential — self-serve pay-per-view. You run your own campaigns, browse and pick creators, and pay per view. Best if you want control and a hands-on approach.
  • Done-For-You — also pay-per-view, but Burst's team runs the campaign for you. Best if you'd rather hand it off.
  • Hybrid — for brands that already have their own creators. It's not pay-per-view; instead you get platform access with auto-posting, view verification and automatic reporting for the creators you already work with.

How pay-per-view billing works

You set a budget up front. As your creators' videos earn real, verified views, your budget is spent against them. No views, no spend. And if a video takes off, it reaches more people for the same money — the upside is yours, not the creator's flat fee.

Setting the budget

Work backwards from the reach you want. A small brand can start modest; a larger one can scale the same campaign without renegotiating, because spend maps directly to views. A smaller budget simply buys fewer views — not a worse rate.

What you're not charged for

  • Flat per-post fees.
  • Fake or unverified reach.
  • Followers or impressions — neither equals attention.

Which plan is right for you?

  • Want to stay in control → Essential.
  • Want the whole thing handled → Done-For-You.
  • Already have creators on contract → Hybrid.
