A loan company put its message in the hands of 13 creators.

Financial products are hard to market. People don't trust a loan ad. They trust a person they already follow.
Fido Credit ran a campaign on Burst with 13 Ugandan creators, built around a simple local-language message about getting instant loans for business and emergencies. The campaign has delivered 162,727 views so far, at a CPM of 30,000 UGX.
What makes that interesting isn't the reach. It's the category. This isn't a snack or a drink anyone buys on impulse. It's a financial decision, the kind people think hard about. And the content that moved it wasn't a polished bank ad. It was familiar faces explaining something useful in a language their audience speaks at home.
That's the shift. In categories built on trust, a creator's word does what an advertisement can't. The product feels recommended, not sold.
If you're in a considered-purchase category and wondering whether creators fit, this is your answer.
