Your Ugandan creator's audience isn't only in Uganda.

Follower counts hide something useful: where those followers actually are.
Take one of our strongest creators from June. Her audience is about 45% Ugandan and 22% Kenyan, with the rest spread across the region. So a campaign meant for Uganda quietly reached a sizeable Kenyan audience too, at no extra cost.
For most brands that's a nice bonus. But if regional growth is anywhere on your roadmap, it's a real signal. Creators who already reach across borders are a low-risk way to test a new market before you commit budget to it. You find out whether your message lands in Nairobi before you ever open an office there.
This is the kind of thing follower count never tells you. Two creators with identical follower numbers can have completely different audience maps, one concentrated at home, one spread across East Africa.
When you select creators, ask where the audience is, not just how big it is. The answer sometimes opens a door you weren't looking at.
