A brand new to Uganda got 105,000 views from its first campaign.

A brand nobody has heard of has one hard problem: no reason yet for anyone to trust it. People buy from names they recognise, and recognition takes time to build.

S-Republiq, an e-commerce brand new to the Ugandan market, ran its first Burst campaign to get past that faster. Three creators, a 1,000,000 UGX budget, and a simple message: shopping online here is easy and worth trying. The campaign delivered 105,060 views.

Four things made a first outing land that well:

A single clear action. Not "shop more." Just visit the site and try it once.

Creators who look like the customer. Everyday Ugandans whose ordering online reads as normal, not aspirational.

A pilot mindset. Starting with three creators to learn what works before committing more.

Local and current. A Ugandan brand, Ugandan creators, an offer people could act on that week.

For a brand still building recognition, that's the point of a creator campaign. It borrows trust the brand hasn't earned yet, from people who already have it.
